Comment: A versatile athlete who is headed to Bowling Green next season to continue her basketball career, Cairnduff played a key role in Morley Stanwood’s state title run. Cairnduff, who averaged over 18 points per game, can score from the outside or take it to the basket with equal skill.

Name: Taylor Gleason

School: Goodrich

Grade: Jr.

Position: Guard

Comment: Taylor will be one of several players on the first team capable of winning Miss Basketball next season. This talented and athletic guard played a key role in Goodrich’s march to the Class B state title. Gleason, who has already committed to the University of Michigan, is a versatile guard who can score and distribute the ball.

Name: Alexis Huntey

School: Morley Stanwood

Grade: Sr.

Position: Center

Comment: One of the top post players in the state, Huntey is a talented athlete who was also a finalist for Miss Volleyball last fall as she helped the Mohawks capture a state volleyball title. She is a strong rebounder and inside scorer on offense and is also a deft passer.

Name: Tori Jankoska

School: Freeland

Grade: Jr.

Position: Guard

Comment: A multi-dimensional player who can play any position from the point to center, Jankoska is coming off another solid all-around season, as she led the Falcons to the state semifinals. An excellent ball handler and shooter, Jankoska has already committed to play her college basketball at Michigan State University, where she will be the Spartans’ point guard of the future.

School: Goodrich

Grade: Jr.

Position: Guard

Comment: One of the premier guards in the nation, Sevillian will be continuing her career at Penn State after she graduates next year. An explosive guard who is dynamite taking it to the basket, Sevillian creates havoc on defense and is also an outstanding distributor on offense.
