Patrick Church of Clare took first place in the 14-18-year-old division of the Junior Golf Tournament at Firefly Golf Course in recent action.
He outlasted Nick Suape of Farwell and Steve Millard, who were in second and third place.
Church took 15th place with a 90 at the district tournament in June.
“42 golfers participated in the tournament”, stated Mike Dodge, President of the Clare Area Junior Golf Association.v”The young girls and boys really had some great weather to compliment their great scores.
