LOCAL ANGLE: Mason beat John Glenn in the Division 2 finals last season and could be poised for a rematch. East Lansing coach John Walter has a strong team back, led by four-year bowler Spencer Brewster and two-year kegler Joe Groom. Ovid-Elsie boys are returning league champs. Lansing Everett has a strong bowler in Quentin Barker.

PREDICTIONS: Champs will be Dakota in Division 1, John Glenn in Division 2, Corunna in Division 3, and Jonesville in Division 4.

LOCAL ANGLE: Matt Fabus could have a strong team at Ovid-Elsie, which was a semifinalist last season. “We should be right up there for the top of the conference,” he said. Scott Hare of Heritage said, “We have a solid group of performers. I have great confidence.” East Lansing returns a girls’ team after a two-year absence. Lansing Everett is led by Khadijah Radcliff.

PREDICTIONS: Champs will be Davison in Division 1, Kearsley in Division 2, Ovid-Elsie in Division 3, and Sandusky in Division 4.
