The Breckenridge varsity boys team finished fifth in the Division 4 Regional Saturday at Carson City-Crystal’s Fish Creek Sportsman Club.
Scoring in the race for Breckenridge was Austin Brittain in 11th place (17:32), Jake Partee in 13th place (17:36), Sam Richardson in 28th place (18:33), Alex Giles in 33rd place (18:52), Gavin Marr in 40th place (19:16), Anthony Olexa in 44th place (19:32), and Hunter Chovanec in 48th place (19:56).
“The boys ran well today and we had Austin and Jake qualify for the state finals as individuals,” said Breckenridge coach Royce Humm.
The Huskies’ two runners will compete in the Division 4 regionals Saturday at Michigan International Speedway near Brooklyn.
