It’s been a solid year for Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart in Class D volleyball. The Irish are 48-11-5 after a 3-1 victory over host Big Rapids Crossroads. Sacred Heart lost the first game but won the next three 25-7, 25-10, 25-16. For Sacred Heart, Sara Hansen had eight kills and 31 assists. Lexie Methner added 17 kills, Lauren Sabuda added 113 digs and Riley Terwillinger had three aces and eight kills.
The 48 wins are the most in Sacred Heart school history. Sacred Heart will be in the Coopersville regionals this week.
