Chippewa Hills opened its season on Friday with a 61-29 victory over Evart in nonleague action. Hanna Guy had the big night for Chippewa Hills with 24 points. Kendall Boone had 11 points for the Warriors while Callee Stirn added six. Guy and Boone had eight rebounds apiece. Olivia Wolfe had four assists and Guy added three assists.

The Warriors, who return four starters from last season, were up 32-14 at halftime.
