Mount Pleasant improved to 3-0 in boys basketball action with an 82-45 victory Dec. 19 over Bay City Central. Mount Pleasant was up 22-11 after the first quarter, 38-24 at halftime and 64-40 after the third quarter. Mount Pleasant outscored Central 18-5 in the final eight minutes.
Anton Cotton and Kalebb Perry scored 12 points apiece while Tim Wilson had 10 points. T.J. Johnson and Jaleel Hogan scored nine points apiece for the Oilers. Aaron Leasher and Austin Ferguson had eight points apiece. Matt Trip scored six points while Jonny Clark had five points.
