The Clare Pioneers are playing very good football after an 0-2 start. The Pioneers lost to state powers Ithaca and Beal City to open the season. But they have responded with wins over Sanford Meridian 20-18, Beaverton 34-0 and Houghton Lake 54-7. They are at Gladwin this Friday.
