Lakewood’s bid for its second state Class B volleyball title in the last three years came up short in a 3-0 loss to North Branch on Nov. 29 in the title game. It was 25-19, 25-15, 25-23. Vanessa Reynhout and Gracie Sellenbarger had seven kills apiece for Lakewood.
