Alma’ girls bowling coach Ken Shunk reported that his team lost a recent match to Shepherd. “We came right out and won both bakers with a total of 356 and also both the Peterson games to win the overall match 28 to 2. Our Peterson series total was a 1,547,” Shunk said. “The big game in the match was junior Susan Schultz with a 210. We were missing our anchor bowler Kemmie Shunk due to an injury preventing her from bowling but the rest of the girls really stepped up showing her support and their commitment to the team.”
