Alma bowled at 300 bowl Saturday Feb. 6, and faced Ithaca, but lost 18-12.
“We came out and lost our first baker 171-198 and won the second 177-172,” Alma coach Ken Shunk said. “It wasn’t looking too bad for our young bowlers and we kept the pressure on their experienced team. Unfortunately we were also down a starter due to the flu but we put up a pretty good fight. We won the 1st Peterson 849 to 829.
“With Susan Schultz leading the team with a 206 and Kemmie Shunk with a 192 but we couldn’t hold pace for the 2nd Peterson. Leading our 2nd Peterson was Kemmie Shunk with a 191, Susan Schultz 168, Morgan Johnson 162 and Brittney LaCross with a 153.”
