John Penfold (45-11) of Goodrich placed 7th at 171 pounds in the Division 2 state finals for wrestling recently at The Palace of Auburn Hills. In the seventh place match, he won by decision over Tyler Blagg (West Branch – Ogemaw Heights) 2-1.
