The Alma girls golf team file
Just a sophomore, Megan Radaz turned in an outstanding season for the Alma girls golf team. She fired a 95 to finish 10th at the Division 3 regional at Centennial Acres. She also earned first-team all-conference  honors. Radaz was not the only Panther to earn all-league honors, as Maggie Bever was named honorable-mention all-conference.

The Zach Pringle file
Pringle has had a hot hand at quarterback for the Carson City-Crystal football team. In a 45-0 win against Ashley, Pringle connected on five of six passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns. He followed up on that game by connecting on six of seven passes for 121 yards and a touchdown against Vestaburg.

The Brooklyn Filipiak file
A freshman, Filipiak has had a big impact on the St. Louis cross country team. She finished sixth at the Greater Lansing Championships with a season-best time of 19:06. Earlier this season, Filipiak took first place at the Bath Invitational, second at the Gratiot County Championship, and fifth in her division at the Spartan Invitational.

The Alma boys soccer team file
The Alma boys soccer team turned in another big season this year, as it went 15-3-2 during the regular season. It clinched the league championship with a 6-0 win against Chesaning. Alma had a streak of 15 straight conference wins before it fell to Ovid-Elsie. The Panthers opened up district play with a 2-0 win against Ithaca and then won a dramatic semifinal game against Swan Valley in a match that was decided in a shootout.

The Logan Davis file
Davis has been a big factor on offense as a running back for the Central Montcalm football team. Through eight games this season, Davis had rushed for 608 yards and scored six touchdowns, added 214 receiving yards and caught two touchdown passes. In Central Montcalm’s 34-24 win against Newaygo, he rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns.

The Justin Doyle file
Doyle picked up where he left off last season, as one of the finest quarterbacks in Gratiot County. Through eight games this season, Doyle had completed 67% of his passes for 736 yards. He had also passed for five touchdowns. Doyle helped Alma keep its playoff hopes alive in week eight, when he helped to lead the Panthers to a key 15-14 win against Chesaning.
