Clare nearly pulled off its biggest football win in history against Ithaca Friday night in a 31-28 loss. Ithaca now has a 56-game regular-seaon unbeaten streak and has won five of the last six state titles. Clare’s Travis Vida was 13-of-29 for 219 yards and two touchdowns.
