Ithaca survived a huge scare to open the seaosn at Clare Friday night and won 31-28 to avoid its first regular-season loss since 2009. Ithaca now has a 56-game regular-season unbeaten streak. Ithaca quarterback Joey Bentley was 8-of-20 in passing for 88 yards and two touchdowns and had a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.
