Okemos girls basketball team open the season with a 60-56 win over a tough Fowlerville team last night. OHS 2019 5’11 combo guard Laya Hartman led all scorers with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 7 steals. Sophomore forward Jasmine Clerkley had 20 points. The Chiefs are back in action this Friday at Haslett.
