A week after winning a fifth-straight team wrestling championship, the Lowell Red Arrow wrestling team turned in another impressive performance at the Division 2 individual state finals at Ford Field in Detroit.

A total of 11 Lowell wrestlers earned all-state honors at the finals. Sophomore standout Austin Boone led the way as he won his second straight individual state title by winning the 145-pound weight class.

A total of four Red Arrows wrestled for state championships as senior Dave Kruse placed second at 189 pounds, junior Avry Mutschler was second at 135 and sophomore Nick Korhorn took second at 103 pounds.

Also earning all-state honors for the Red Arrows were senior Austin Engle (third, 171 pounds), senior Keigan Yuhas (fourth, 215 pounds), sohomore Dawson Jankowski (seventh, 119 pounds), sophomore James Fotis (seventh, 140 pounds), sophomore Tyler Deloof (seventh, 285 pounds), freshman Zeth Strejc (eighth, 125 pounds) and freshman Doak Dean (eighth, 130 pounds).
