Brian LeBaron I am a 1991 graduate of Ithaca High School.  I played at CMU after high school.

We are 3-15 this year.  It’s been a Tough year of highs and lows.  We got our first win in a 20-3 mercy of Genesee on May 12th.  In that game We may have set a first Inning scoring record at Ithaca with 17 runs in the 1st inning.  We have struggled to score runs at times and our defense has also hampered us at times early in the season.  Our pitching has been much better than the box scores may suggest with the lack of a consistent defense to lean on.  Now that we are later in the season we are starting to click.  We are scoring runs and playing some defense to keep us in some games.   The highlight to the Season has been the Sweep of a double header with Farwell on May 22nd.  I am told it is the first sweep for the Jackets since 2013.  That was huge for our Seniors who had yet to take two games in their 4 years here.  We are making memories, having small victories every night that may not be W’s but are the building blocks of turning this program back onto winners.  Go Jackets!
