POSEN —It was tough sledding for the Cougars in their opener against the Posen Vikings on Thursday. The Vikings came out early and pounced on the Cougars, taking the opening drive for a touchdown. The Cougars were able to move the ball on their opening drive but a fumbled snap gave the Vikings the ball back. The Vikings followed the fumble with another touchdown. The Cougars were never able to recover.
David Peck led the Cougar offense with 38 yards rushing. David Burley and David Peck led the defense with 11 tackles apiece.
