Saranac volleyball’s outside hitter Abbigail Miller has been named High School Sports Scene’s Female Athlete of the week.
In two matches last week Miller had 35 kills, 34 digs and 11 aces. “She has amazing speed and hustle at all times,” her coach, Amy McElvain, said.

Brit Barrus, Fulton volleyball: She had 30 assists, 17 digs, and 1 ace in loss to Bath.
Clara Krupp, New Lothrop cross country: She won the Carrollton Invitational in 23:07.00.
Taryn Chapko, St. Johns cross country: She won the Corunna Early Bird Invitational, Large School Division, in 19:31.68.
Jillian Lange, Goodrich cross country: She won the Corunna Early Bird Invitational Medium School Division in 19:10.59.
Rylie Gorby, Greenville varsity girls golf: She’s been team medalist in five events already played.
