The Owosso Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Swan Valley High School for non-conference play on Thursday evening. Their night began slowly when they faced Midland, falling in two sets: 3-25, 13-25. They continued their nigh by facing Montrose and were able to find their stride winning the match in two sets: 25-15, 25-23. The Trojans carried their momentum into the final match of the night when they faced host school Swan Valley. Despite a full team effort, the Trojans were unable to edge out a tough Vikings team, falling in three sets: 25-23, 18-25, 12-15. The Trojans will continue non-conference play on Saturday when they travel across town to the Corunna Invitational with play scheduled to begin at 9 am.
