Beal City middle school runners have big day
The Aggie Middle School Cross Country runners accompanied the Varsity to Carson City on Saturday and posted multiple season best times as the Lady Aggies took home runner-up hardware in the 16-team small school division and Owen Gross (7th, 12:14.6) recorded a season best two-mile for a top-10 finish in the boys’ race. Tailor Onstott (12:35.0) won the girls’ race with Kaylee Locke (12:48.2) close behind in second. Genieve Lasater skipped right through the 14s as she took her season best from 15:18.2 to 13:57.7 to place 9th. Rylee Sisco (17th, 14:17.7) and Haylee Long (37th, 15:18.9) posted season bests to round out the team scoring while Emma Carlson, Addyson Zuker, and Bella Davis all ran significant season bests, as well. The Jr. Aggies will look to improve on their second place finish in the first Highland Jamboree when they attend Jam #2 on Tuesday.
