The Beal City Middle School Cross Country athletes closed out their season on Friday at the Alma College Scottie Classic Invitational with all eight runners posting season best two-mile times. Owen Gross placed 5th in the Small School Division as he broke 12:00 for the first time at 11:49.2. The Lady Aggies took home runner-up hardware behind only St. Louis in the Small School race. Kaylee Locke (11:49.9) and Tailor Onstott (11:50.3) joined Owen in dipping below 12:00 for the first time to place first and second while Genevieve Lasater also placed in the top-10 at 7th in 13:26.5. Rylee Sisco (14:04.3) and Haylee Long (14:44.4) rounded out the scoring five while Emma Carlson (14:55.9) and Addyson Zuker (15:35.4) completed a full set of season’s bests.
