Pewamo-Westphalia’s cross country team started its bid for a state title by handily winning the Division 3 regional title on Friday. P-W had a 37, followed by Ithaca with 101.
For P-W, Ashton Walker was first (15:58.4) while Hayden Germain was third (16:11.8) and Mitch Nurenberg fifth (16:36.7). Kyle Hengesbach was 13th (17:15) and Troy Hagen 15th (17:16.8).
