2.) Name some key athletes that have graduated from last season’s team and your remembrances on their contributions to the program. We had 9 seniors so we had several key graduates. Brendan Sanders, Jeremy Slasor, Jon Baillargeon and Casey LaRue to name a few.

4.) What expectations do you have of your team this season?
We always have high expectations. But ultimately it is always to be playing our best hockey at the end of February and March.
5.) What will be your team’s strength?
We have a team full of good, scrappy skaters that love to compete.
6.) What are some things this team needs to work on?
50% of our roster is made up of first year players for us. So being young, our team chemistry and getting acclimated to our game will take some time.
7.) Your conference: How strong is it and who would you consider the league favorites? Where do you see your team fitting into the league race? The SVL is always competitive. I would say Saginaw Heritage is the odds on favorite to win the league. They basically returned everyone from last year’s state finals team. We should be one of the top 4 teams considered to win the Valley.
