coleman coach clark swerdan:I’m so proud of my guys tonight! That was the best game we’ve played all season. We didn’t get the win, but we hung tough, on the road, against the best team in the conference. Carson City is now 11-0 in the conference, with a 3 game lead with 3 games to go.
We easily had our best defense effort of the season. We were physical inside & got a lot of tough rebounds. We kept it close and gave ourselves a chance late in the game.
We took the lead a few times in the 3rd quarter and were only down 1 going into the 4th. Kam DeVrieze hit a 3 to tie it at 30-30 in the early 4th.
The boys played with great intensity and I couldn’t be more proud! We had our chances and that’s all you can ask for against a great team.
We are now 8-8 (5-6 in MSAC)
