Portland had the opportunity to have 6 Boys and 6 girls compete against 98 boys and 92 girls
They will need to get in to the top 10 to have the opportunity to bowl next weekend for a state championship

Girls results Emma Armour 4th Place , Jessie Whitford 5th Place, Kaylee Becker 13th Aubrey Martin 16th Jordyn Fyan, 20th and Sammi Krausz 23rd This is probably the best showing Portland has had in years all 6 had a very good shot to make it into the top 10 Out of 92 bowlers

Coach Armour said the lane conditions were the toughest we have seen all year Very proud of the way each of the boys kept their wits about them adjusting and adapting the whole day at the end we should’ve had more qualified, but I’m still very proud of them

The next action for Portland is team event For both boys and girls on Friday and for the three that were in the top 10 individually bowling on Saturday At Northway lanes, Muskegon Michigan
