Kevin Moore returns as Owosso's baseball coach

"Overall, our record was 8-22, but we improved throughout the season and were playing solid baseball by the end of the season. The highlight of the season was winning the Portland Invitational Tournament.

"All-State Catcher Jordan Klapko graduated in 2018 and is currently playing at Mott Community College. Recently, he just committed to Saginaw Valley State University to play baseball in the Fall.

'We expect to continue to improve our baseball skills and knowledge and also increase our level of competitiveness."

"Our overall team strength will be our starting pitching.

"Hitting and scoring runs is always tough at the beginning of the season so we will focus on getting better at-bats and limiting our number of strikeouts.

The Flint Metro League is a tough, competitive league from top to bottom. Last year was our first season in the conference, but it seems that Linden, Fenton, and Flushing are usually the teams to beat in the conference race.
