HEMLOCK – Millington scored four runs in the top of the 6th inning to secure their first victory of the season with a 7-6 win over Hemlock.

Sophomore Austin Lacewell earned the first victory of his career in relief of starter Kyle Paquette. Cole Hill earned a save pitching in the 6th inning.

Drew Germain, Jordan Rabideau, Nick McClain, Will Kirby, and Drew Kihn all had hits for the Cardinals. Germain also had one RBI and two stolen bases.

Game two ended in a 5-5 tie after the game was called because of darkness. Hill, Kirby, and Kihn each had one hit. Germain walked twice for Millington.

Millington (1-0-1) travels to Swan Valley (4-0) on Tuesday, April 9 for a double-header. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
