The Mt. Pleasant Lady Oilers started their season with a decisive 5-1 win over Ovid-Elsie earlier this month. The leading goal scorer, Hunter Cashen scored 3 goals followed up by Maleah Blake with 2 goals. These ladies were assisted by Maddie McBride, Jules Fisher, Brigid Boyle and Kayleigh Riley. The highlight of the night was when Maddie McBride stepped in and saved a penalty kick after starting goalkeeper Paige Hassen got a yellow card inside the 18 yard box.
