Saginaw Nouvel’s baseball team is still below .500 but is one win shy of being the Division 4 state champs. Nouvel on Friday won the state semifinal game over Decator (32-7) 4-2. Nouvel is 15-16-1 and plays in Saturday’s title game against Petersburg-Summerfield. Jacob Burr was the winning pitcher.
