Shepherd went 0-1-2 in volleyball pool play at the Carson City Invitational on Saturday. Alex Adams turned up the heat with 14 kills, eight aces, 18 digs and one block while Sara Lator contributed with 19 kills and four aces. Hallie Reed had 15 digs, 10 assists and eight aces while Brooke Faber had 24 assists and 10 digs. Mackenzie Showalter also added six kills and three blocks along with four kills and one block from Andee Raphael. Jenelle Judge had four aces and three blocks.
Shepherd is at Beal City on Tuesday.
