Fowlerville’s tennis team will be young this season according to coach James Jonas.
“We return only 5 of our starters from last year, and they played in the lower half of the lineup, so experience will be a problem,” Jonas said. “We have a strong nucleus from last year’s JV team, that with some experience should do very well this year and beyond. Practices have been very spirited, and the work ethic of the team has been great. I think we will definitely be better later in the year, and hopefully that means playing our best tennis for the league and regional tournaments.’
