Shepherd made a solid run to the semifinals of the Montabella Volleyball Invitational this weekend when it fell to hard-hitting Saranac. Adams and Faber fired in seven aces each while Reed added another six. Faber and Reed led the offense with their combined 27 assists, followed by Raphael to lead in kills with big contributions from Faber and Showalter. Faber also led in blocks while Greening had 36 digs at libero, followed by 22 from Adams.
