CARO – Millington senior Logan Gutierrez finished in 13th place on Saturday, October 19 at the Caro Golf Club. He finished with a time of 17:27.94 in a field of 137 runners. Gavin Stewart (21:41.01) and Mitchell Murry (23:21.3 each ran a personal best time, while Nic Yorke (24:53.99) ran a season-best time.
Olivia McVay led the women’s’ squad with a time of 23:24.42, her second-best time of the season. Brynn Bearss (30:22.56) and Christine Styles (36:08.93) each ran a season-best time. Makenzi Alexander racn a personal best time of 32:08.47.
The Cardinal cross country team will head to Shepherd High School on Friday, October 25 to compete in the Michigan High School Athletic Associations Regional Championships.
