Saginaw Nouvel came out on top 56-37 in a TVC West matchup Tuesday night with Michigan Lutheran Seminary. The Panthers held a nine-point lead at the half but MLS cut the lead to three in the third quarter. Nouvel countered the Cardinals run and hit some big shots to regain a double digit lead. Nouvel’s Sam Buckingham led all scorers with 15 points while Devin Smith added 13. MLS was led by A.J. Alcorn who finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
