Frankenmuth’s varsity boys basketball team lost to Bridgeport 55-29 on Friday night.
AJ Pipkins for Bridgeport scored 11 points. The winners had quarter leads of 17-4, 37-14 and 48-16.
The Eagles dug a huge first half hole struggling with Bridgeport’s pressure and never getting on track offensively, ultimately losing 55-29. It was a game that featured 30-plus turnovers by both trems. It was the Bearcats ability to convert turnovers and offensive rebounds into easy baskets that made the difference.
