Alma held off a scrappy Standish team down the stretch for a key TVC win at Standish. Alma came out fired up and took a 17-13 lead after 1. Then Standish converter from the free throw line in the second to take a two pt lead into halftime. Standish pushes the lead to 7 before Alma battled back in the 4th behind 8 Brice Austin points. It was knotted up at 51 when David Apple drained a 3 to give Alma the lead for good.
Alma was led by Brice Austin’s 14 pts & 10 rebs, AJ Omans scores 10 and played terrific defense, Case Martin added 9, Mike Howey II and Paul Gadde had 8 pts.
Standish was led by Cole Prout and Chase Raymond’s 17 points.
