Alma loses a hard fought contest at Freeland on Wednesday. Both teams couldn’t find the bottom of the net early as it ended after one at 11-10. It continued to be a battle in the 2nd as Freeland gained a 19-16 advantage at halftime. Freeland then used a 10-2 run to push the lead to double figures early in the 4th quarter. Alma made a hard fought run to cut it to one in the final minute before falling 45-42.
Alma was led by Paul Gadde and Brice Austin’s 12 points a piece.
Freeland was led by Josh Elliott’s 11 pts & Bryson Huckeby’s 10.
