Coleman coach Clark Swerdan: What a game! We started out slow, but we didn’t panic. We went on a big run in the 2nd and cut it to 1 inside a min before half.
We tied it again at 40 late 3rd, but didn’t get our first lead until the 4th. It was back & forth late 4th & OT.
Connor had a heck of a game, he refused to let us loose tonight! He scored the game winner, a tough contested layup, inside of 10 seconds.
That was a heck of a game! Both teams played their butts off! What an emotional game! What a great win for our team! We had struggled closing games to open the season.
Hopefully this will springboard us going forward!
We are now 2-3 (2-2 in MSAC). We play at Merrill next Thursday.
