The Ovid Elsie Lady Marauders improves to 6-3 (3-2 MMAC) with a nice home win over the Montrose Rams. Balanced scoring aided the Marauders as Montrose employed a 1-3-1 half court trap.
“We struggled a bit finishing and from the line, but defensively we keep stepping in the right direction, “said Head Coach Ryan Cunningham. “As long as we focus on our defense the offense will come. It was nice to have several kids step up and contribute offensively.”
OE will travel to Mt. Morris on Tuesday and then wrap up the first round of conference play when New Lothrop visits on Friday.
