Boys Tuesday basketball

Cadillac – 61
Western – 37

Western coach Demario Walker:
“We are struggling putting an entire game together but our effort is there. We played well the 1st half. Down only 11 points at half because of a 1.5 second put back for Cadillac to end the second quarter. Our Western boys did not lose focus and came out the 3rd quarter with confidence. Made some adjustments at half time and cut the game within 4 points but let a couple possessions get away from us. We can see the progression and our team coming together. We are learning how to be tougher and have more “WILL” in us! We explained to the boys how close we are to tasting our next victory. Now we need to learn how to compete for all 4 quarter. We have the first half down but now it’s time to learn to finish. The score does not reflect how close the game was, we were within 10 points the entire game except the end of the 3rd. I’m pleased with our effort but not satisfied with our finish.”
