St. Johns hit a 3 point basket at the end of the 2nd quarter to cut the lead to 31 – 19 at half time. The Redwings scored first in the 3rd quarter to cut the lead to 10, 31-21. St. Johns continued to battle and got within 8, 33 – 25 midway through the 3rd quarter. The Mounties responded and built a 16-point lead in the 4th quarter 50 – 34. The Redwings continued to battle and cut the lead to 13 but could get no closer.
