Comments from Mark Lasceski: The Redwings built a 14-7 lead midway through the 1st quarter. Charlotte finished the quarter on a 10-3 run to tie the game at 17 going into the 2nd quarter. St. Johns used a strong defense to hold the Orioles to 3 points in the 2nd quarter and built a 25-20 lead at halftime. The Redwings came out in the 3rd quarter and extended their lead to 12, 36 – 24. St. Johns was able to keep the lead throughout the rest of the 3rd quarter. Charlotte battled in the 4th quarter but could get no closer than 8 points as the Redwings went on to the victory.
