The Montabella Mustangs hosted the Breckenbridge Huskies on Friday night.The Mustangs jumped out to an early lead thanks to some hot shooting and intense defense. Holding a 7 point lead at the half, the Mustangs hit some hiccups in the second half as the Huskies chipped away at the lead and eventually took it from the Mustangs. A valiant effort to fight for the win came up short for the Mustangs as the final score would read 63-55.
Austin Pawlowski scored 26 points, JT Smith scored 17.
The Mustangs continue action at home on Tuesday vs the Beavers of Beaverton. JVtip 6pm
