Comments Lansing Eastern jumped out to a 10 – 5 lead early in the 1st quarter. The Redwings battled back with a 13 – 5 run to finish the quarter and take an 18 -15 lead into the 2nd quarter. St. Johns increased their lead in the 2nd quarter as they outscored the Quakers 12 – 2, and went up 30 -17. The Quakers battle back and cut the Redwing lead to 30 – 21 by halftime and continued the surge in the 3rd quarter. Eastern opened the 2nd half on an 8 – 5 run to get with in 6, 35 – 29 midway through the 3rd quarter. The Redwings finished the 3rd on a 6 – 0 run and regained a 12 point lead. The Quakers continued to battle in the 4th quarter but the Redwings were able maintain their lead as they went on to the victory.
