Portland girls individually had two girls make it to State finals , Jessie Whitford and Aubree Martin. 
 
Sophomore Jessie Whitford finished in 6th averaging 166 over 6 games with high games of 199 and 174 , Jessie made it to states last year as a freshman.
 
Senior Aubree Martin finished in 7th averaging 165 over 6 games with high games of 187 and 180 . Aubree recently won the CAAC  individual tournament. 
 
Coach Whitford said the girls made a lot of spares today to make it in. We expect them to do great things next Saturday 
 
Senior Olivia Gallt finished 26th with high game 162,  Freshman Anna Humphrey 28th high game 223, Sophomore Kaelyn Bayless 37th high game 154, Senior Hannah Martin 71st high game 121
 
Portland’s boys were able to get 1 bowler in state finals 
 
Senior Luke Dalman finished in 2nd by 1 pin averaging 189 over 6 games, high games of 237 and 226. Luke made it to states as a Sophomore and recently won the CAAC individual tournament for the 2nd year in a row. 
 
Sophomore Kyle Edlund finished 26th high games 203, 195, Junior Josh Rutkowski finished in 30th high game 211, Freshman Cooper Hoskins finished 57th high game 170, Junior Jacob Vroman hogh game 173, Junior Brandon Ladisky finished 76th high game 159. 
 
Coach Armour said Luke is a great talented bowler and will be successful Saturday 
 
State finals are at Jax 60 Bowling alley in Jackson Michigan, on Saturday March 7th
 

Both Portland boys and girls came up a little short of making it to states as a team the girls qualified 6th out of 14 teams and boys 8th out of 14 teams. 

 
Both teams missed way too many spares to have an opportunity to move on. Even though its been a rebuilding year, Coaches Whitford and Armour are very proud of the bowlers efforts
