Essexville-Garber ready for football
Jake Coquillard is the head varsity football coach at Garber High School and is ready to do battle in the conference.
“Our league I feel is one of the toughest in the state,” he said. “It’s going to be an absolute battle each week. The strongest mentally and physically (stay healthy) will rise to the top.”
Coquillard expects Freeland,Swan Valley, Frankenmuth, Alma and John Glenn will be “very tough.”
“Muth, Swan Valley, Alma and Freeland just seem to reload every year and Glenn is coming from the SVL and has huge student numbers along with Alma,” he said.
