Sophomore Drew Young scored 24 points in pacing the Saranac Redskins to a 56-42 win over Dansville in CMAC boys basketball action Friday. Saranac is 1-5.
Two free throws by Young at 1:10 made it 52-40 and put the game away.
“I’ve known Drew has had that in him all along,” Saranac coach Carmen Brown said. “It was having him believing in himself.”
Branden Smith added 11 points and John Kinsman 10 points for Saranac.
