Shepherd’s wrestling team came up with a strong performance in the Joe Loren Memorial Day Invitational over the holidays at Chippewa Hills.
The Bluejays were 12th with one fourth place, one fifth, two sixths and one seventh.
Doug Sharrar, a senior, improved to 8-5 with a fourth place at 189 pounds.
Landon Hanson took fifth place at 160 pounds for a 9-4 record so far this season.
Justin McPhereson was sixth at 140 pounds and now has an 8-6 overall record.
Also taking sixth was Skyler Neyome, a freshman at 145 pounds. He has a 9-5 record.
Senior Jordan Travis was seventh at 152 pounds and now has a 9-5 record.
